The wilderness is infinite. We distill it into parts we can understand, each of us adding a bit of knowledge to the picture. Yet beyond the boundaries of our human frames, we too are part of nature. The picture described by our knowledge is itself an organic shape, spreading wildly, with overlaps and gaps. It takes each of us to add our perspective, and together, we can begin to imagine the world. “It takes many hands to see” … there is a contradiction between hands and sight, but it is our actions that shape how we conceive of nature and from that imagination, how we treat it.

So these drawings are organic images, encapsulated in inorganic page shapes, encapsulated in an organic structure.
