I make site-specific, large-scale installations: images of branching trees and thickets drawn in charcoal across networks of individual pages mounted directly to the wall. Each drawing is simultaneously whole and fragmented. Pages build on one another, but gaps and edges remain visible throughout. Each page is complete in itself, but—like the trees in a forest— together, they create something different. The piece is always becoming—a snapshot of potential energy.
